Selina R, McGee, O.D. is an optometrist specializing in primary care optometry. Dr. McGee performs comprehensive eye exams which include eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions, as well as evaluating the eye for the presence of glaucoma, cataracts, age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, amblyopia and many other types of ocular pathology. She is also certified to preform certain laser procedures.

Prior to entering private practice with her partners Darrell J. Pickard, M.D. and R.Randall Robinson, M.D., Dr. McGee worked at the Dean A. McGee Eye Institute where she also served as a clinical instructor for the University of Oklahoma's College of Medicine.

Dr. McGee, a native Oklahoman, earned her O.D. degree from Northeastern State University College of Optometry, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She received several awards while attending the university including, outstanding senior Clinician, Triad Pathology Award, Alumni Association Outstanding Senior Award, heart of America Contact Lens Society Award, Vistakon Excellence in Contact Lens Fitting Award, RGP Lens Institute Clinical Excellence Award, Ciba Vision Contact Excellence Award, Alcon Excellence in Contact Lens Fitting Award, Academic Achievement Award in Vision Science and was a member Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Fraternity.

Dr. McGee is a member of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians, American Optometric Association, currently she serves as President of the Central District for OAOP and is a key person on the Legislative Committee for the OAOP.

 


Darrell J. Pickard, M.D. is a board certified Ophthalmologist specializing in advance cataract surgery and refractive surgery. He has served as a full-time eye surgeon for Midwest City and its surrounding communities since 1993.

A native Oklahoman, Dr. Pickard went through the Mid-Del school system before attending Oklahoma Christian College and Oklahoma State University. He then attended the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine before completing his training in Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Health Sciences in San Antonio, Tx.

Returning to Midwest City in 1993, Dr. Pickard has served as a clinical instructor for the University of Oklahoma's Department of Ophthalmology helping train medical students and residents. He was one of the first surgeons in Oklahoma to perform laser vision correction with the VISX laser starting in 1996. He has performed thousands of eye surgeries including being the first Oklahoma surgeon to implant the ReStor intraocular lens.

Dr. Pickard is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract Refractive Surgery, The American Medical Association and the Oklahoma State Medical Association.


R. Randall Robinson, M.D. is a board certified Ophthalmologist that has served the people of Midwest City Del City and Eastern Oklahoma County since 1981. He specializes in medical ophthalmology and general eye care, including checking for eyeglasses (refraction) and the fitting of contact lenses.

Dr. Robinson graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine with an MD (Medical Doctor) degree in 1976. After his internship at Baylor University Medical center in Dallas TX, he completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (Dean A. McGee Eye Institute) in 1981.

Dr. Robinson's most gratifying professional experience has been the honor to serve thousands of patients since 1981 from his office in Midwest City. He and his wife Lainey have 3 adult children (April married to Scott, Amanda and Ran) and two 4-legged roommates Little and Lucy (Bichon Frise).

When not practicing ophthalmology, Dr. Robinson likes long walks with Lainey and the puppies, serving his church and playing golf with his buddies. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the AMA, the Oklahoma State Medical Association and the Oklahoma County Medical Society.
